Hi Everyone, I wanted to update you on some things I have in the works to make sure you can affordably get books, digital books, and decks,  as well as getting special collectors things where you want them.  I've been listening to your requests would love your feedback on these improvements: DIGITAL PDFS OF LORE BOOKS : Starting with our summer sale in mid June we'll have PDF versions of many lore books available to purchase on the site. This means they will NOT be included in the Kindle Unlimited Program anymore (but will still be available on kindle).  This will allow me to offer better prices directly (because amazon won't take a cut!) AND even do free books or special  offers for folks getting a bunch of books... and even maybe do free holiday gift books for subscribers :) DIGITAL PDFS of ORACLE GUIDES: I'm also planning to have digital versions of the oracle guide books that go with the decks. I can't automatically bundle physical and digital products sadly. BUT these will AUTOMATICALLY become free if you purchase them with the matching deck. This already works for Dragon Scale. You just have to add both to your cart, so I linked the products to each other in their descriptions and explained you'd get the guide free if you got both. Hopefully this solves a lot of issues. AFFORDABLE ORACLE OPTIONS: On my site and on future Kickstarters you'll have the option of getting oracle decks with: • a small set of directions and the digital bigger guide (if there is one) • or the full paperback guide and digital guide.   For example the Oracle of Water will have a budget friendly $26 version with smaller directions and a digital guide book and then a $34 version with a full paperback guide book and we'll probably offer one higher collectors item too. As part of this plan I'm getting what's called a "long" stapler that lets us do our own mini booklets (like 2 or 3 of the getting started directions  we've done in the past stapled together so they'd be 6 to 8 pages).  It's MUCH more cost effective to print and make these ourselves to order. WHAT ABOUT PRINTED LORE BOOKS? Because we've had SO many issues with Amazon KDP I'm currently not planning to use them AT ALL for my next few projects.  This means we'll be offering an affordable "standard" printed book (either paperback and/or hardcover depending on the project).  We'll also offer a more expensive collectors edition on the better paper with nicer printing - these will be a bit more as Ingram charges more for them than amazon BUT they will also allow us to include special things like printed dust jackets.  I'll make sure we have affordable and special collectors options for folks who want either.  Prices will vary per book. (For Oracle of Water it's just a paperback oracle guide so no collectors edition). Let me know what you think!
